Adaptive Estimation of Biological Parameters in an Anti-tumour Im- Mune Response Model

چکیده

Mathematical modeling of pathological processes is a new multidisciplinary area. Despite the rapid development in immunology little work has been done in this eld until recently. This development provides the basis for considering diierent diseases im-munologically and mathematically. However, such dynamical systems are always nonlinear and may be time-varying which complicates theoretical modeling and parameter estimation. This paper discusses design of a stable adaptive observer based on a nonlin-ear immune response model. The complex behaviour of the immune system against tumor cells is investigated using simulated data and the results of the on-line estimation of biological parameters are analyzed .
